West’s Wood Fair – June
18th-19th June – West Sussex.
West’s Wood Fair showcases many interesting ways in which wood can be used. Come along and explore trade stands selling timber and wood related items or watch demonstrations on hurdle making and chainsaw carving. The fair will also be home to workshops and showrooms, allowing visitors to take a look at the fine furniture and joinery, as well as catching a look at some of the woodworking machines in use. If you’re looking to get a little more hands on, then why not join in with activities such as axe throwing and archery?
There will be plenty of food and drink on offer as well as live music later on in the day for all to enjoy. Don’t miss out!
Bentley Woodfair – September
23rd, 24th & 25th September – East Sussex.
A true celebration of woodlands, forestry, timber, woodcrafts and much more – Woodfair is a place for those who are passionate about the natural materials. Home to two fields of stands, exhibits, displays and an excellent woodland packed full of demonstrations and activities for all! Supporting the local businesses and crafts since 1996, Bentley Woodfair is passionate about educating and entertaining all the family.
Whilst there is so much to soak in from the fairs array of demonstrations and workshops, this unique event also offers a wealth of local food to try along with a beer tent for adults to enjoy! Come and join in the atmosphere this September.
The Cranborne Chase Woodfair – October
3rd & 4th October – Hampshire
